Worldwide Afghan Refugees Organization (WARO) is a humanitarian non-profit initiative dedicated to supporting Afghan refugees and displaced communities across different regions of the world.
Our organization was founded with the belief that every human being deserves safety, dignity, education, and opportunity, regardless of borders or circumstances. Millions of Afghans have been forced to leave their homes due to conflict, insecurity, and lack of access to basic services. WARO exists to respond to these urgent needs with compassion, responsibility, and long-term vision.
We work to provide shelter assistance, educational support, and community-based programs for Afghan refugees, particularly those living in Brazil, Mexico, Turkiye, Iran, and Pakistan, while also supporting online education for girls inside Afghanistan who have limited access to formal schooling.
Our key focus areas include:
Providing temporary shelter and basic support for Afghan refugees
Supporting education and learning opportunities, especially for girls from grades 8 to 12
Establishing and supporting community schools in Afghan languages
Promoting self-reliance, dignity, and integration for refugee families
Building partnerships with individuals, organizations, and institutions committed to humanitarian work
Worldwide Afghan Refugees Organization is guided by the principles of humanity, transparency, neutrality, and accountability. We aim to work closely with local communities, volunteers, and partners to create meaningful and sustainable impact.
Our mission is not only to offer help in moments of crisis, but also to build pathways toward a safer, educated, and hopeful future for Afghan refugees worldwide
